Every Song has a Story
My Journey

About me
My story, The First Kiss of Music
My Story
“Every song has a beginning. Mine began with a kiss.”
I was born in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, where music quietly found me long before I knew it would become part of my life’s calling.
One evening, when I was about three years old, my grandmother took me to a small café where a live jazz band was playing. I was an incredibly shy little girl, simply watching in wonder as the musicians filled the room with music.
At the end of the evening, one of the musicians bent down, smiled, and gently kissed my cheek.
When we returned home, my grandmother tried to wash my face before bed. I looked at her with all the seriousness a little girl could have and pleaded,
“Please don’t wash away the kiss.”
Perhaps I didn’t realize it then…
…but somehow music had already kissed my heart.
My Voice
For many years, singing was something deeply personal.
A little girl in Switzerland
I sang in the shower.
I sang while walking through the forests of Switzerland.
As a young Adult
Life soon took unexpected turns.
I became a very young mother, often attending university lectures while raising little children. My days were busy, beautiful, and demanding.

As a Child
& Teenager
As a young teenager, I joined a contemporary church choir filled with gifted musicians who nurtured not only my voice but also my love for worship.
My Mama Years
Music quietly stepped into the background…
…but it never truly left.
Every evening, after long days of caring for my family, I would sit beside my children’s beds and sing them to sleep.
Those bedtime songs remain some of my favorite concerts I’ve ever given.
A Life Woven with Music
My Journey
Where it All Began

Years later, life carried me across the Atlantic to California.
While raising my growing family, I pursued a completely different calling, dedicating years to studying functional and integrative medicine. There were seasons when I attended university lectures with little ones in tow, homeschooled my children in subjects ranging from languages to geometry and trigonometry, and somehow learned to embrace the beautiful chaos of motherhood

A Voice
Yet even in those busy years, Papa God never stopped weaving music into my life.
For nearly two years, I had the privilege of serving on an incredible contemporary Christian worship team while attending a School of Ministry. It was an intense but deeply life-giving season. Weekly rehearsals often stretched for hours, followed by weekend services filled with worship, learning, and community
Where Music
First Found Me
My children came with me everywhere.
They played in the church hallways, colored quietly on the floor, built little adventures of their own, and sometimes simply fell asleep on rows of chairs while rehearsals continued around them. Looking back, those memories are among the sweetest gifts God has given me.
During those years I was trained by gifted worship leaders and musicians, growing not only as a soprano vocalist but learning how to worship with authenticity, humility, and joy.

Life continued to unfold.
Yet even in those busy years, Papa God never stopped weaving music into my life.
In 2017, I became board-certified in California and eventually founded my own integrative medicine practice while also serving patients in a functional neurology clinic in Southern California.
Helping people heal became my profession.

“Come back.”
But worship remained quietly tucked away in my heart.
Although I began writing devotionals around 2000 and songs in 2008, most of them stayed private. For nearly ten years, my piano gathered more dust than melodies.
Then, one gentle day, Papa God lovingly whispered something I hadn’t expected:
“Who am I now?”
“Come back.”Not to perform. Not to impress.
Simply to worship again
Today you’ll often find me exactly where I love to be—alone in my bedroom, headphones on, my red Nord Piano 5 in front of me, completely lost in God’s presence.
Especially after my younger children began moving out, I find myself asking a question so many parents quietly ask:
“Who am I now?”
For years I had been “Mom.”
I had become “Doctor.”
But somewhere beneath both of those titles, Papa God reminded me of the little girl whose heart had once been kissed by music.
This isn’t a new calling.
It’s an old love story that Papa God patiently waited to awaken again.

Let's Walk This Journey Together
Music has always been my quiet place of worship.
If these songs have encouraged you, brought you peace, or reminded you that you are deeply loved, I’d love to hear your story too.
Whether you’re here because of the music, my devotionals, or simply stumbled across this little corner of the internet…
